Joséphine Bacon est une poétesse, parolière et réalisatrice innue, originaire de Pessamit, au Québec. Son œuvre comporte des recueils de poésie bilingues, en innu-aimun et français, publiés aux éditions Mémoire d’encrier, dont le plus récent est Uiesh/Quelque part, paru en 2018. Elle a été finaliste pour le Prix du Gouverneur général du Canada et elle a obtenu le Prix des libraires du Québec.
Atikamekw Nehirowisiw de la communauté d’Opitciwan, Terry Randy Awashish est artiste multidisciplinaire et designer graphique. Il œuvre surtout en illustration, à la conception d’affiches, d’identités visuelles ainsi qu’à tout ce qui est destiné à l’impression. En avril 2017, Terry a obtenu une première distinction en recevant le premier prix Manitou-Kiuna remit par l’Institution Kiuna ainsi que le Conseil en Éducation des Premières Nations. Puis en 2019, il a complété un baccalauréat en design graphique à l’école de design de l’UQAM.

Joséphine Bacon is an Innu poet, writer and director. She was born in Pessamit, Quebec. She is the author of several bilingual poetry books, written in Innu-Aimun and French, all published by Mémoire d’encrier. She was a finalist to the Governor General’s Literary Award and won the Prix des libraires du Québec in 2019, for her book Uiesh/Quelque part.
Atikamekw Nehirowisiw of the Opitciwan community, Terry Randy Awashish is a multidisciplinary artist and a graphic designer. He works primarily as an illustrator, conceiving posters and visual identities. He is also interested in everything related to fine art print. In April 2017, Terry was awarded the Manitou-Kiuna Prize by the Kiuna Institute and the First Nations Education Council. In 2019, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in graphic design at UQAM’s Design School.
